On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are delighted to invite and welcome you to the 7ᵗʰ International Conference on RARE EARTH MATERIALS (REMAT) held on 3–6 November 2026 in Palermo, Sicily, Italy.

The REMAT2026 is a continuation of earlier conferences (REMAT 2008, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2018) organized by the Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences every two/three years in Poland. For the last edition in 2024, the location was moved to Vilnius, Lithuania. This time, REMAT Committee and society decided to organize the event in Palermo jointly by University of Palermo, Vilnius University, and the Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research. The scope covers novel rare earth materials, including ore extraction, purification, fabrication technology, and studies of fundamental optical, electric, catalytic, magnetic and other properties with applications.

We look forward to welcoming you to Sicily and experiencing this scientific event together.
