How to get to Palermo

By plane

The stopover is at Falcone Borsellino Airport (Punta Raisi), from which the city can be easily reached thanks to various transport services including buses, trains, and taxis.

By bus

The bus service is operated by the company Prestìa e Comandè, which runs to Palermo Central Station in Piazza Giulio Cesare.

By train

If you prefer the train, the Trinacria Express (Palermo’s metropolitan rail service) connects the city of Palermo directly with the airport terminal, and vice versa, in approximately 45 minutes.

By ship

The main ferry companies that dock in Palermo are Grandi Navi Veloci, Grimaldi Lines, and Tirrenia. Arriving at the Port of Palermo places you right in the city center, where you can use the AMAT urban bus service or take a taxi from the port’s parking area.
