From the central railway station, simply take the metro and get off at the Palazzo Reale – Orleans stop. The walking distance is very short, only about 5 minutes.

Exit the Orleans metro station and you will find yourself in Piazza Indipendenza. From there, walk straight along Piazza Indipendenza towards Corso Calatafimi. After a short distance, you will reach Porta Nuova, the ancient monumental arch marking the entrance to the historic city center. Walk under Porta Nuova and continue along Corso Vittorio Emanuele for approximately 100 meters. On your right, you will see the entrance to the Palazzo Reale (Palazzo dei Normanni).
